Career Renovation

Attention: open in a new window. PrintE-mail

When injured employees have undergone all available rehabilitation but are unable to return to their pre-injury position or stay employed, a new solution is needed.
As an employer, you will feel a sense of obligation to assist the person during the transition into alternative work options, to provide them the best possible opportunities.
The person may need direction, a motivational boost, or assistance in changing their perception about their circumstances and their future options.

Alternatively, the person may be an important resource to the organisation, and you may be able to accommodate the person in a new position, but you are not sure where they will fit, or what re-skilling they may need.

Solution

Trevor-Roberts Associates can offer a Career Renovation program specifically designed to re-direct individuals in their careers following a physical or psychological injury.

The program will take into account the person’s injury and any relevant restrictions, previous skills, interests, qualifications and any current barriers identified to return to work. It can provide the individual with career re-direction, skills for managing injury information during the job seeking process, assistance with motivation, and can address any psychological barriers relevant to returning to work or changing career direction.
