CAPSTONET - The Career and Capability Transition Program

Today's organisations face one of their greatest challenges: the imminent loss of valuable, hard to replace expertise as long-term staff exit the workforce.

How can organisations mitigate the risk from loss of critical knowledge and expertise sets? And at the same time, what can be done to support highly valued staff as they transition to the next phase of their life?

Our Solution

CAPSTONET is designed specifically to address these two related challenges.

CAPSTONET is a parallel process of identifying, harnessing and communicating critical knowledge to the organisation while simultaneously supporting the departing employee to effectively transition to their new life stage.

CAPSTONET is a cutting edge program at the forefront of global thinking on the organisational issues of ageing workforce demographics, critical skills shortages and careers. It is an innovative knowledge retention and employee support program that will distinguish your organisation as an employer of choice. The program is a collaborative development of two specialist organisations: Knowable and Trevor-Roberts Associates.

Process

This innovative program brings together, for the first time, two highly specialised and complementary approaches. It combines the latest international thinking, research and practice in the intellectual capital and career fields. Integrated together the program delivers tangible outcomes to both the organisation and the individual.

CAPSTONET is delivered through one-on-one sessions with an experienced Career Consultant and an expert Knowledge Management Consultant. Organisations knowledge capture is maximised when you support and make the individual feel valued.

The CAPSTONET program is offered at three different levels. These levels represent the intensity required to mitigate the risk of losing a particular employee's corporate knowledge and the level of support the employee requires to effectively transition to the next stage of their life and/or career.
